Vintage Coca-Cola Delivery Trucks

We had a great reference book from Icon Graphics that was just black & white photos of old Coca-Cola delivery vehicles. Each one of the trucks in this series of six was an accurate depiction of what trucks of that time did to deliver various Coca-Cola products. This series had an additional level of fun, four of the six trucks had cold-cast features in the truck bed that was consistent with the year of each truck. The actual vehicles weren't as highly decorated as our series trucks, but they did have "Coca-Cola" prominently on the truck.

Working with sculptor Scott Spicer was a delight. We were all blown away when we saw his sculpt of the racks of Coca-Cola bottles. Ted Dyer did most of our painting and rubdown transfers. All of our rub-down transfers were created by ColorComp in Williamstown, New Jersey. The detail of their transfers was amazing. If I had the time, I often applied deco transfers to the finished painted vehicles.
