Coke Cruisers
| The Coca-Cola style guide was a treasure chest of reference. We also had some very good Coke reference books. I noticed that every few years Coca-Cola would change their slogan. This series tells the story of the Coca-Cola slogans through the years. The slogan and graphics match the year of each car. Coca-Cola liked the series and requested very few changes.
As with all of the series that I designed and were taken to production, I was responsible for the entire life-cycle of the project. This was the "manager" part of my position. After my concepts were approved, I had to get product to paint, have graphics made for photo samples, write deco specs, and assemble an engineering turnover package. When pre-production samples arrive from China, I had to inspect the samples and write a review describing what needed to be adjusted. Each project had all the same steps to follow and at times I had 10 to 15 projects all running at once. There was a lot of variety and creative freedom in this position.
